此發明為一種體外反搏系統的控制方法藉由一控制單元實施，並包含下列步驟：偵測多個QRS複合波；根據該等QRS複合波，計算一心率值；根據該心率值，決定加壓的一時間間隔；根據該等QRS複合波，計算一加壓時間點；至少根據該等QRS複合波判斷是否在一異常狀態，當判斷在該異常狀態時，控制多個脈壓帶停止加壓並減壓。該控制單元動態地調整加壓的該時間間隔，並在該異常狀態時即刻地減壓，避免在錯誤的時間點加壓而危害使用者的健康，進而提供一種安全的體外反搏系統的控制方法。 A control method for an external counterpulsation system is carried out by a control unit and comprises the steps of: detecting a plurality of QRS complex waves; calculating a heart rate value from the QRS complexes; determining a pressure based on the heart rate value; Calculating a time point of compression based on the QRS complexes; determining if it’s an abnormal state based on the QRS complexes, and when it is judged that the plurality of pulse pressure bands are stopped and decompress in the abnormal state.
