一種微結構偏極化之導光裝置

ㄧ種微結構偏極化之導光裝置,係包括ㄧ非偏極化光源模組、ㄧ偏極分光結構以及一偏極轉換模組;非偏極化光源模組包括一導光板及位於導光板側邊之一光源;導光板之材質為具有高透明度之聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA,Polymethylmethacrylate),其表面上具有複數個出光結構;偏極分光結構係為具有奈米尺寸之微結構,由一介電光柵層及一金屬光柵層所構成,其中,介電光柵層與金屬光柵層係成垂直方式相互堆疊,且介電光柵層係ㄧ體成形於導光板具有複數個出光V形導光結構表面的相對表面;而偏極轉換模組則配置在導光板具有複數個出光V形導光結構之表面。 A microstructure polarizing light guide device¸including a non-polarized light source, a polarization beam splitter and a polarization conversion module. The non-polarized light source is composed of a light guide plate and a light source located at the side edge of the light guide plate. The material of the light guide plate is high transmittance PMMA, and there are plural light extraction structure on it. The polarization beam splitter has a microstructure scale at a few hundred nanometer and is consist of a dielectric grating layer and a metal grating layer, where those two layers are stacked together with a cross fashion. The polarization beam splitter microstructure is made on the opposite side to the light extraction pattern on the light guide surface, and the polarization conversion module is located at the light extraction pattern side of the light guide plate.
