技術說明

此技術提出一類比記憶體於畫素可進行電壓自我反轉的電路，因為低功耗技術在現今ＬＣＤ的市場變的愈來愈重要，而在傳統技術中，靜態畫面會持續被資料驅動電路輸出導致功率消耗，所以記憶體置入畫素的技術可有效減少ＬＣＤ資料驅動電路消耗的功率。除此之外，所提出的電路已經驗證其可以在資料訊號於0V到4V有效進行畫素電壓反轉，並且此所提出之電路具備有減少電壓長時間stress造成電晶體劣化的補償設計功效，而當臨界電壓變異量為1V時，誤差率僅僅只有2%。 An analog memory in pixel circuit with a function of self-compensation is proposed. Because of power consumption issue, the memory in pixel (MIP) has become one kind of solution for LCD. In conventional design, the data driver of LCD still needs to produce data signal continuously while the image is static (still mode). But with MIP design, the LCD driver do not have to generate the data signal while still mode. Besides, the feature of the proposed analog pixel memory has the function of self inversion and the applicable data working range is from 0V to 4V. Furthermore, self compensation way is also proposed in this circuit to decrease stress induced instability. (The error rate is 2% with ΔVth =1V)
