技術說明

利用拉曼光譜技術來偵測微生物的各種分子振動光譜，以此作為一種「光譜指紋」來鑑定微生物的種類，並進而監測微生物受到外來藥劑攻擊時所發生的生化反應。由於微生物無所不在，從人體、動植物、土壤、水到空氣中都可以找到它們的蹤跡，這套快速微生物檢測技術可應用的範圍既深又廣。 可能的應用範圍： 1. 致病性微生物檢測與其對藥物反應監測 2. 新抗生素對特定微生物效用之即時監測 3. 食品、農漁產品中之微生物檢測 4. 空氣、水與環境中微生物與化學物質之檢測與監測 This invention exploits Raman spectroscopy for the identification of microorganisms based on their molecular spectroscopic fingerprints. It can also be used as a method for monitoring the response of microorganisms to external chemical challenges, such as antibiotics treatment. Since microorganisms exist in human, plants, animals, earth, and air, the potential applications of this invention are essentially unlimited.
