技術說明

在產品銷售前，我們可以用錄製與重播真實網路流量的方法來測試產品以便挖掘出更多可能在顧客端發生的問題，進而降低顧客端問題實際發生的機率。然而目前錄製與重播的技術具有以下三項缺點: (1)浪費儲存空間、(2)漏錄封包時影響重播的準確性、(3)重製事件的效率不彰。本專利設計了下列三個方法分別來改善上述三項缺點: (1)錄製時針對每條連線只錄製連線的前幾位元或封包的前幾位元、(2)找出漏錄封包的長度以恢復網路流量的完整性、(3)針對事件資訊選擇性的重播流量尋找足以重製事件所需的關鍵必備流量。 Before shipping products to the market, capturing and replaying of real-world network traffic to test products is a good way to dig out more product defects which may happen in the customer side. It's useful to reduce the possibility of the occurrence of customer found defects (CFD). However, three drawbacks in current technologies are (1) ineffectiveness of storage usage, (2) inaccuracy of traffic replay due to capture loss, and (3) inefficiency of reproducing network events. We design three methods to solve the above problems and they correspondingly are (1) capturing network traffic with three thresholds for each connection (2) calculate the length of lost packets to recover the completeness of network traffic, and (3) selectively replaying connections one by one to find out which connections are essential to reproduce an network event, and then only replay those essential connections next time when we need to reproduce that event.
