Disclosed herein are compounds, compositions and methods for treating tumors, particularly tumors that metastasize, via inhibiting tumor cells-induced platelet aggregation. No. 14/287,735 filed May 27, 2014, which is a divisional application of U.S. patent application Ser. No. 13/687,207 filed Nov. 28, 2012, now abandoned, which application claims the benefit of Taiwan Patent Application No. 101124690 filed Jul. 9, 2012, in the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office; the entire contents of each of which are incorporated herein by reference.
