技術說明

聚矽氧烷 (polydimethylsiloxane,PDMS)是一種具低表面能,且具疏水特性之高分子材料,本發明選擇含聚矽氧烷(PDMS)之雙醇(KF-6001,KF-6002 和 X-22-176DX)分別當作PU預聚合物之主鏈和側鏈多元醇(polyol)基材,並分別與二異氰酸酯(如isophorone diisocyanate, IPDI)反應合成含NCO末端官能基之聚矽氧烷PU預聚物(PU prepolymer),此PU預聚物可應用於溼氣交聯型製程;或是將含NCO末端官能基之聚矽氧烷PU預聚物,進一步應用此PU預聚合物之NCO端基再與2-醇基乙烯甲基丙烯酸酯(2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate, HEMA),分別形成含主鏈和側鏈PDMS紫外光交聯型PU寡聚物(UV-curable PU oligomer)。將此種溼氣交聯型或紫外光交聯型聚矽氧烷之寡聚物,分別經由噴塗、凹版印刷、含浸、或是刮刀等方式塗佈在織物(PET聚酯織物或尼龍織物),搭配溼氣環境或紫外光照射處理後,由於PDMS的含量有效地提供織物表面改質成撥水性質,對水之接觸角達130度以上;更由於溼氣交聯或是紫外光照射交聯,使含聚矽氧烷(PDMS)之PU寡聚物箝嵌入織物纖維,且在10次洗滌後仍保有至少原來95%的撥水效果,形成持久型耐水洗的撥水性織物表面處理。 Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is well known as low surface energy and with hydrophobic characters. A PDMS diol with excess amount of isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). It results in NCO-terminated and PDMS-containing PU prepolymer (NCO-PDMS-PU). NCO-PDMS-PU is a moisture-curable PU. NCO-PDMS-PU reacts further with 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) and becomes acrylate-terminated PDMS-containing PU oligomer (UV-PDMS-PU). Either moisture-curable PU oligomerand UV-curable PU oligomer are applied on textile surface by all kinds of coating process, and then cured by moisture exposure and UV-radiation, respectively. The treated textile owns the water-repellency due to the presence of PDMS. Either moisture-curing or UV-radiation curing process offers the PDMS-containing PU anchored into textile and that also cross-linked among textile fibers, which enhances the washing durability of the water-repellency function of treated textile.
