技術說明

此技術與我的前一項研發成果(編號:103HFAA32052)的應用範圍相同，但是用不同的方式達成目的。基於專利布局的考量，因而分別申請專利。 本技術是：將資訊隱藏導入列印過程，即隱寫在印刷品的研究。半色調演算法(halftoning)是將連續調影像轉變成數位輸出的技術，廣泛用於各種列印產業。本技術將兩個研究領域：『資訊隱寫』與『半色調技術』做結合。 【技術說明】在不影響列印品質的情況下，我們設法在半色調影像中的某些區域，找出特定形狀的墨點供我們旋轉以達到編碼效果。並且在一定影像子區塊的範圍內，我們疊代的去移動經過旋轉後的墨點，找出具有人眼視覺誤差最小的編碼 (視覺優化的) 半色調影像。 Hiding information in a continuous-tone image is often referred to as watermarking. However, through the extreme bi-level quantization inherent in halftoning, the nature of such encoded images changes considerably. Embedding data in halftoned hard copy therefore encounters new challenges other than those faced by traditional watermarking. 【Illustration of this research】Halftoning is a method to transform a continuous tone image into a binary mode. In this research, we designed way to encode in halftone image that is based on shifting and rotating certain clustered-dots within some portions of the image. We applied a similar direct binary search (DBS) to seek the least human visual system (HVS) error between the continuous tone image and the encoded halftone image.
