低介電性α-堇青石陶瓷纖維之製備方法

本發明是在提供一種化學合成技術以製備α-堇青石(Mg2Al4Si5O18)陶瓷纖維。特別是有關於一種使用部分醇鹽溶凝膠技術製造α-堇青石長陶瓷纖維,直接於室溫製作透明纖維經燒結製取α-堇青石陶瓷纖維,本發明設備簡單操作容易,相較於熔融法,其降低成本及節省能源之功效相當顯著,以此方法製得製得之陶瓷纖維具有高抗拉強度、細晶結構、及低介電常數,可擴展其於纖維補強複合材料、生醫齒科填縫材料及微機電製程封裝用低介電性材料之應用。 This invention provides a chemical synthesis technique for preparing α-cordierite (Mg2Al4Si5O18) ceramic fibers. Especially, long ceramic fibers are produced by using a partial alkoxide sol-gel technique. Transparent gel fibers are prepared at room temperature and followed by thermal annealing. The equipment of the invention is simple and easy to operate, which can greatly reduce the manufacturing cost in compare with the traditional melting method. The obtained α-cordierite ceramic fibers have high tensile strength, fine crystal structure and low dielectric constant. The produced ceramic fibers can be applied to fiber reinforced composite materials, biomedical and dental materials and low dielectric materials for microelectromechanical packaging.
