支持單點校正之溫度感測系統

本案係關於ㄧ種支援單點校正之智慧型溫度感測器(smart temperature sensor, intelligent temperature sensor),可以全數位方式製作、且於單點校正後在0~100℃的範圍下誤差僅有-0.7℃~+0.6℃之電路設計,其電路包括:一寬度可調之溫敏脈衝產生器,用以產生寬度隨溫度改變之遮罩訊號,且該遮罩訊號之寬度亦可透過校準電路做適當調整;ㄧ時間至數位轉換器,電連接於溫度感測器之輸出端,將該遮罩訊號寬度轉換成相對應之數位值輸出;ㄧ數位校正電路,於單一校正溫度下調整該遮罩訊號寬度,讓其輸出達到預定數值。 本案之溫度感測器可以降低所需使用之元件個數、減少功耗、提高有效精度,並支援單點校正以降低量產成本。另外,本溫度感測器構極為簡單且,可搭配標準元件設計(cell-based design),亦可利用FPGA平台實現,可大幅縮短開發時程,節省開發成本。 A smart temperature sensor with one-point calibration support is proposed. It composes: a width-adjustable thermally sensitive pulse generator to generate a mask signal whose width is roughly proportional to the operation temperature and can be properly adjusted through calibration circuit; a time-to-digital convertor connected to the output of thus pulse generator to convert the width of thus mask signal into a corresponding digital output; a digital calibration circuit to adjust the width of thus mask signal to make thus digital output equal to a predetermined value at a single calibration temperature. Compared to its former version, the proposed sensor utilizes less devices, consumes less power, has higher accuracy and supports single-point calibration to reduce the mass production cost. The structure of the proposed sensor is quite simple and can realized either with cell-based deign or FPGA platform. Its time to market can be greatly reduced to save R&D cost.
