技術說明

一種海底量測之十字片剪力試驗設備，係由不同貫入深度之十字片剪力試驗儀、重力土壤取樣器、重錘及反力座所組成。十字片剪力試驗儀以機械記讀方式固設於重錘下方，且於底端固設十字片剪並組裝於反力座上，投入海中，於反力座貫入並固著於海床後，利用重力驅動重錘，使其向下帶動十字片剪貫入海床扭剪轉動，可獲得數組不同深度之土壤不排水剪力強度，另外試驗設備所配置之重力土壤取樣器可以同時取得該位置之土壤樣本，以利後續試驗進行分析比對。 The shear vane is one of the most widely used tools to measure the in-situ undrained shear strength cu of sub-areal, saturated fine-grained soils. However, it would be expansive and time consuming to measure the cu of marine sediments below the seafloor with great water depth. To decrease the cost and increase the efficiency of submarine geotechnical investigation, a new free fall shear vane (FF-SV) has been developed. The FF-SV device consists of a torsion generator, a torque gauge, hollow drill rods, and a shear vane at the tip. The device will be lowered down to a height about 30m above the seafloor, be dropped in a free fall style, and penetrates into the seabed until the resistance of the probe exhausted the driving force. When the probe reaches a standstill state suddenly, the elevated fictitious forces exert on the torsion generator will drive the vane to rotate. The torque can be measured via the torque gauge.
