技術說明

一種運用於多種區塊組態之視訊畫面間動態搜尋的方法，本發明係提出一個有效的邊界預測六角型演算法（Edge Detection Predict Hexagon Search, EDPHS)，此方法係利用邊界值(Edge Value) 及 動態向量（Motion Vector）的分佈特性，進而改進六角型搜尋（Hexagon Based Search, HEXBS）演算法的缺點，使其在搜尋時能夠擁有較低的搜尋點數，並經由實驗證實，本發明與鑽石型搜尋（Diamond Search, DS）演算法比較大約可以減少80%～98%的搜尋點數，而與六角型搜尋演算法比較可減少大約75%~97%的搜尋點數，而不會影響資料壓縮過後的品質，此優點將使得本發明適用在實現及時影像壓縮上。 A method for motion search between video pictures with multiple blocks is disclosed. In the invention, a new fast algorithm, Edge Detection Predict Hexagon Search (EDPHS), is proposed. The method uses the distributed characteristics of edge detection and motion vector to improve the shortcomings of hexagon based search algorithm. As proved by the experiments, the invention reduces 80%~98% amount of searching points compared to diamond search algorithm and 75%~97% amount of searching points compared to hexagon based search algorithm without affecting the quality of compressed data. The advantage enables the invention to realize real-time image compression.
