技術說明

一種薄型裝置可以用來將光源（例如LED）的能量做分隔或是根據頻譜做分隔，然後對各分隔部份的光線能量調制其行進角度分布以及空間分布範圍，然後再將光線耦合進入導光板中，接著藉由導光板的光滑微結構讓該光線經由反射或折射而從導光板表面離開。此時，離開導光板的各部分光線都仍保有各自不同的行進方向，形成一個具有多角度出光，而且在不同方向上提供不同輝度/照度或是不同頻譜（顏色）的表面光源。A slim apparatus can separate the light of a light source (e.g. LED) into several portions with part of the energy or part of the spectrum; then modulate the angular distribution and spatial distribution of the light in each portion; further couples them into a light guide plate. Next, the smooth microstructures on the light guide plate induce the light to emerge out of the surface through refraction or reflection. Thus, the light of each portion emerges with its separate angular and spatial distribution, forming a surface source of multi-directional emerging light.
