技術說明

本專利所提出之畫素電路可應用於主動式有機發光二極體顯示器上，其所使用的元件為兩顆非晶矽薄膜電晶體及一顆電容，因此能達到高開口率之目標。此外並利用外部系統來偵測電流衰減大小，並進而調變畫素內資料電壓大小。因此使得驅動電流不受非晶矽薄膜電晶體臨界電壓漂移及電子遷移率之變異影響，並且也能改善有機發光二極體材料老化對亮度衰減所造成之影響。由實驗結果可知，本專利電路在長時間的操作下能有效的維持畫素電流之穩定度，因此能改善有機發光二極體顯示器亮度衰減的問題。 The proposed external compensation method is applied to 2T1C pixel circuit, which can compensate for threshold voltage shift, mobility decay, and OLED degradation. The programming time can be reduced for application of high resolution displays. Simulation result shows, the programming time is about 28 µs with the programming current of 60 µA. Measurement results indicate the normalized driving current degradation is less than 4.5%, while that of the conventional 2T1C pixel is over than 81.75%. Hence, the proposed scheme can compensate the variation of electrical characteristics in devices and provide stable driving current for AMOLD panel.
