技術說明

在自然界裡，影像中的物件周圍常會有朦朧霧狀的光暈所圍繞，使得邊線偵測與物件切割的進行變得更加困難；因此，此發明提出一個run length enhancer來解決此問題。對於影像f中的任意一個像素f(i, j)，run length enhancer利用f(i, j)周遭八個不同方向的像素灰階值，來加強f(i, j)的灰階值。當f(i, j)的灰階值較周遭像素灰階值低時，則以八個方向中較暗的像素灰階值，來取代f(i, j)的灰階值；否則以八個方向中較亮的像素灰階值，來取代f(i, j)的灰階值。run length enhancer除可去除物件周圍朦朧霧狀的光暈，同時也具有去除雜訊與彌補物件輪廓斷線等功用。 In the real world, an object is often surrounded by a hazy fluorescent halo. The hazy fluorescent halo will make object segmentation more difficult. Therefore, this patent proposes a run length enhancer to suppress the hazy fluorescent halo. The run length enhancer draws eight line segments l0, l1, …, l7, all of which pass through one pixel f(i, j) in an image f. It then uses the intensities on line segments l0, l1, …, l7 to enhance f(i, j). The run length enhancer cannot suppress halos, but also enhance the contrast of objects, remove noise, and mend disconnected edges.
