技術說明

一種指紋與掌紋之拍攝裝置及其方法，其包含有一用以擷取指紋與掌紋影像之影像擷取機構；一與影像擷取機構結合之光處理機構，用以隔絕外部光源且提供拍攝時不同角度之照明；一連接影像擷取機構與光處理機構之控制/觸發機構，用以控制光處理機構之光源作動，並同步觸發影像擷取機構進行取像；以及一連接影像擷取機構與控制/觸發機構之影像處理機構，用以操作控制/觸發機構完成指紋與掌紋取像，並將所擷取之片段指紋與掌紋影像整合為一完整之指紋與掌紋影像。藉此，可於不撢粉之情況下，利用簡易之方式進行指紋與掌紋之取樣拍攝，以避免撢粉時所造成之指紋與掌紋破壞，而達到有效獲得清晰之指紋與掌紋、結構簡單以及成本低廉之功效。 Fingerprints have often been and still are considered one of the valuable types of physical evidence in criminal identification. In general, three forms of fingerprint evidence that may be found at a crime scene are visible (or patent) prints, impression (or plastic) prints and latent prints. Latent prints are not visible to the naked eye and thus require some means of development or enhancement for their visualization. The traditional fingerprint detection technique for treating latent prints is powdering method, but the procedure of powdering method is time consuming. This technology is developed a fingerprint detection method without the prior use of powders. By using diffusion, dark field strategies to arrange the Illumination, the latent fingerprint on the smooth surface can be detected by camera.
