In our new synthesis method of C-AuNPs, the reducing agent is hydroxyl peroxide which can be decomposed to water, and the protecting agents can be selected to be biocompatible. Then, the obtained dispersions of C-AuNPs don’t contain toxic compounds and can be used without purification processes. Additionally, the reaction is accomplished within short time (within few minutes) and suitable for mass production.
