技術說明

本發明提供一種用於光纖通訊系統中之多埠數光路切換器及其配置方法，特別指利用鏡面來切換光路之多埠數光路切換器及其鏡面位置配置方法。本發明利用一網路交換架構對應出複數個光路徑反射點及複數個光路徑交點，並分別於該些光路徑反射點上配置一單面反射鏡；以及分別於該些光路徑交點上配置一雙面反射鏡。藉由此鏡面配置方法所配置之多埠數光路切換器，可應用於隨意入射與出射光路數的切換需求，保證每一切換光路徑長度都相同，並簡化所需的鏡面數量，進而降低光開關所需元件的製造成本、尺寸大小與組裝時間 This invention relates to an arbitrary port number optical switch and arrangement method of the same for the optical communication system, especially relating to an arbitrary port number optical switch and arrangement method of the same, which switches optical path by using mirrors. This invention uses a network exchange algorithm to compute a plurality of crossing points and reflecting points of the optical paths. A plurality of single-sided reflecting mirrors are disposed at the reflecting points of the optical path respectively, and a plurality of double-sided reflecting mirrors are disposed at the crossing points of the optical path respectively. By means of said arrangement method, the arbitrary port number optical switch can be applied to satisfy the request of arbitrary number of input and output terminals, to assure that each length of the optical paths is the same, and to decrease the number of the mirrors to reduce the cost, size and assembling time of the optical switch.
