技術說明

Acceleration of energetic ion through laser wake field is a thriving research field for laboratory astrophysics and novel medical applications. Thin and strong targets are desired to achieve high ion energy. We propose to use the few-atomic layer thick large area suspended graphene target (LSG) as target for generating energetic H+ and C+ through laser wake field acceleration.Through depositing few nanometer-thick gold film on the LSG, high energy heavy and high Z ions can be generated.
