技術說明

一種基於手部軌跡辨識系統，主要係由包括視訊攝影機模組、移動物件偵測模組(moving object detection)、手指追蹤模組、特徵擷取模組、與軌跡辨識模組所組成。這個發明主要透過視訊攝影機擷取手部動作影像，移動物件偵測單元整合背景重建與前景物體色彩分析技術找出動作中的手部，指尖偵測單元根據分離出的手部影像定位手指尖端，軌跡紀錄與處理單元依據手指尖端移動位置記錄其軌跡，等同於對手寫符號做細線化(thinning)動作；接著，特徵擷取模組使用鏈碼(chain code)做為軌跡特徵，最後軌跡辨識模組利用徑向基底函數類神經網路(Radial Basis Function Neural Networks, RBFNN)類神經網路針對鏈碼特徵進行分類，其結果再經由混淆集合 (confusing set) 進行修正。其結果可做為電腦動作之依據，以進行電腦控制或是文字輸入。 This technique proposes a vision-based fingertip trajectory recognition system to provide an alternative to input devices. The method consists of video camera module, moving object detection detection module, fingertip tracking module, feature extraction module, and trajectory recognition module. The method captures the hand images using video camera module. Moving object detection module integrates the background reconstruction and foreground color analysis to find the hand region. Fingertip tracking module identifies the fingertip from the hand region. Feature extraction and trajectory recognition modules record and extract the fingertip trajectory. Finally, radial basis function neural networks (RBFNN) classifies the trajectory features and then a confusing set is used to correct the results. The proposed method can be used in the OCR or control.
