技術說明

本專利是描述一種讓無線網路增加網路效能的演算法，在此所說的網路效能指的是網路上的傳送與接收對(Transmit-Receive pair)的傳輸速率(Transmission rate)。本演算法是在接收端(Receiver)估計一些必要的資訊，此資訊包含有接收端的訊號干擾比(Signal-to-Interference Ratio)的平均值(Mean)與變異數(Variance)、其它使用者的傳輸速率以及所需要的訊號干擾比、出界機率(Outage Probability)。本演算法的最終目的是能適當調整發射功率以及傳輸速率，期望能夠達到多個傳送接收對都滿意各自的傳輸品質，於是整個無線網路的整體傳輸速率就可以比一般傳統網路更加提升。其中，訊號干擾比的平均值與變異數與發射端的功率、通道(Channel)的統計特性、與相對的傳送接收器之間的距離有關。換言之，本演算法利用與距離(Distance)有關的訊息，增加網路效能。本專利所指的網路是具有感知能力的網路或稱為感知網路(Cognitive Radio Network)。 The disclosure relates to a method to enhance the transmission efficiency of a wireless network using the information of distance. The method is applied to improve the transmission rate of the transmit-receive pair. The method calculates some necessary information at the receiver. The information includes the mean value and the variance value of the signal-to-interference ratio, the transmission rate of other users and the required SIR, outage probability. The method adjusts the power and rate of related transmit-receive pairs and thus enhances the transmission rate of each transmit-receive pair. The mean and variation of the SIR are affected by the power, channel characteristics, and the distances. In other words, the method increases the efficiency of a cognitive radio network.
