本發明係有關一種具有複數接點之奈米碳管(CNTs)之製造方法, 至少包含:在化學氣相沉積系統中,提供至少一基材;金屬粉末; 以及含碳反應氣體,於高溫環境下進行反應,以在前述基材上形成 具有複數接點之奈米碳管,其中前述複數接點之奈米碳管係為二維 (two-dimension)及/或三維(three-dimension)結構且具有相似 直徑之網狀結構(webs)。 Branching structure in carbon nanotubes (CNT) are of great importance in developing novel CNT-based mechanical or electrical applications. For this purpose, CNTs exhibiting two-dimensional and three-dimensional junctions are being sought. Among them, only two-dimensional branching structures of Y-junction and T-junction CNT have been synthesized. In this letter, we have successfully grown new CNT branching webs having two-dimensional H- junction and multiple Y-junctions, and three-dimensional multiple junctions using a thermal chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method without the use of a template. The result not only shows the possibility of creating three-dimensional complex CNT structures but also provides the nanotechnology community with new base materials for the development of nano-scale mechanical or electrical devices.
