技術說明

第二型阿拉伯半乳聚醣(II-AGAF)是台灣金線連多醣的主要成分,含量約佔台灣金線連水萃取物的0.34 %。我們的研究發現II-AGAF能促進益菌生長、促進腸道鈣吸收,因此可以改善去卵巢小鼠誘發的骨質疏鬆。II-AGAF 能促進巨噬細胞放出顆粒性白血球集落刺激因子之釋放,因此能提升因化學療法所降低的白血球。II-AGAF能調控免疫反應,能改善卵蛋白所誘發的過敏性氣喘。II-AGAF也能抑制azoxymethane引起的結腸癌。依據這些結果,II-AGAF能應用於骨質疏鬆、氣喘健康食品的開發,也能用於免疫調節藥品的研發。 Type II arabinogalactan (II-AGAF) is the major polysaccharide of Anoectochilus formosanus, the content occupies aqueous extract of A. formosanus approximately 0.34%. Our study found that II-AGAF has prebiotic activity, and it may enhance intestinal Ca absorption. Thus, it may ameliorative ovariectomy-induced osteoporosis in mice. II-AGAF stimulates the granulocyte colony-stimulating factor production from macrophage, and it can increase the number of leukocyte which is reduced by chemotherapy. II-AGAF also has immunomodulatory activity, it can ameliorative the allergic asthma induced by ovalbumin in mice. II-AGAF also suppressed the colon cancer induced by azoxymethane in mice. According to these results, II-AGAF may apply in the development of health food for anti-osteoporosis and anti-asthma. It also may apply in the development for immnomodulatory drug.
