技術說明

本發明提出一個適用於一般立體視覺匹配演算法之影像匹配架構，針對原始高資訊量的影像執行強度值量化並建立影像平面分層。利用階層式的層別分級，先選擇低資訊量的影像平面，依照所建立的二值化地圖，結合現存的立體匹配運算方式，求得初始的影像視差資訊圖。接著逐次增加其影像中局部像素區域的位元資訊，求得變量位元率的影像並進行立體匹配。由於在變量位元率立體匹配運算過程中，可控制影像中每個像素的資訊量及運算範圍，因此可達到降低輸入影像資料，提高傳輸效率的目的，同時取得近似於一般立體視覺匹配所得之視差資訊圖。 The present invent describes a hierarchical matching framework for the stereo matching techniques. The stereo matching for high data rate images is carried out on the bit-planes based on intensity quantization of the images. The initial disparity map is derived by stereo matching on the least significant bit-plane. It is then gradually refined by stereo matching on more significant bit-panes. The disparity quality can be controlled by the proposed variate bit-rate matching strategy. In our approach, the results are comparable with those derived by conventional stereo matching techniques with high data rate.
