技術說明

此專利主要的技術是運用相機擷取使用者介面測試的畫面，來進行不同廠牌手機的測試驗證。在不同硬體規格與作業系統的手持產品上，使用黑箱測試的方法來評測圖形化介面之應用程式是非常困難的。此發明的目的為在異質手持裝置下，以非侵入式之黑箱測試的方法來評測圖形化介面之應用程式。我們使用視訊鏡頭來捕捉裝置上的畫面，並且運用影像處理的技術來判斷裝置的反應是否如預期所示。此外，我們透過網路服務來達到測試工具的重複使用性。 Manufacturers of handheld devices build devices with different hardware configurations and different operating systems. It is difficult for black box GUI testing tools to support a wide range of heterogeneous devices. This invention proposes a non-intrusive, platform-independent method to verify the GUI of black box applications on heterogeneous handheld devices. We use a camera to capture images of the device’s screen and existing image comparison techniques to determine if applications are being displayed as expected. Furthermore, we expose our method using a service so that it can be reused by different testing tools.
