技術說明

本發明提供一種漸進式記錄媒體，包含：一基板、及一形成該基板上的磁性記錄層。該磁性記錄層含有一FexMnyPtz化學式，並具有一鄰近該基板的下表面及一遠離該基板的上表面；其中，x介於0至65之間，y介於0至65之間，z介於35至60之間，但有條件的是，x+y+z等於100，且x與y不可同時為0；以及其中，x是自該磁性記錄層的上表面朝其下表面遞減，y是自該磁性記錄層的上表面朝其下表面遞增，以致於該磁性記錄層的鐵磁性是自其上表面朝其下表面遞減。本發明亦提供一種前述漸進式記錄媒體的製作方法。 This invention provides a graded magnetic recording media, which comprises a substrate, and a magnetic recording layer formed over the substrate. The magnetic recording layer contains a formula of FexMnyPtz and has a lower surface adjacent to the substrate and an upper surface far away the substrate, wherein x ranges from 0 to 65, y ranges from 0 to 65, and z ranges from 35 to 60, with the proviso that x+y+z=100, and with the proviso that x and y aren’t equal to zero simultaneously, and wherein x decreases gradually from the upper surface of the magnetic recording layer to the lower surface thereof, and y increases gradually from the upper surface of the magnetic recording layer to the lower surface thereof. This invention also provides a method for making the graded magnetic recording media stated above.
