所揭露的是一種無需電子選擇層之高效反式有機太陽能電池，經後處理連續照光ㄧ段時間後，即具備不可逆轉之特性，且其光電轉換效率更可大幅提昇。由X光電子能譜圖可進一步揭示其界面表面的成分分散分佈特徵有利於反式有機太陽能電池，同時由電流密度與電壓測量的結果獲得證實。此外，照光過的裝置之使用期限，明顯比傳統裝置更加延長；由於不需要電子選擇層，照光在實現高效反式有機太陽能電池的製作上，可被視為是一具有相當成本效益的方法。 Disclosed is an apparatus and method for generating inverted organic solar cells which required no electron selective layer were fabricated and their power conversion efficiency was found to improve irreversibly with post-processing light soaking for a period. X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy characterization revealed further segregation in surface composition at the interface and was found to explain the current density–voltage measurements. In addition, the light soaked devices were found to exhibit extended lifetime as compared to conventional devices. Since no electron selective layer was required, light soaking may be considered as a cost-effective method to achieve efficient inverted organic solar cells.
