技術說明

機器人是自動控制機器（Robot）的俗稱，自動控制機器包括一切模擬人類行為或思想與模擬其他生物的機械（如機器狗，機器貓等）。狹義上對機器人的定義還有很多分類法及爭議，有些電腦程序甚至也被稱為機器人。在當代工業中，機器人指能自動執行任務的人造機器裝置，用以取代或協助人類工作。 今天，對人類來說，太髒太累、太危險、太精細、太粗重或太反覆無聊的工作，常常由機器人代勞。從事製造業的工廠里的生產線就應用了很多工業機器人，其他應用領域還包括：射出成型業、建築業、石油鑽探、礦石開採、太空探索、水下探索、毒害物質清理、搜救、醫學、軍事領域等。 然，以目前的機器人來說，並無法普遍的融入家中，也無法與人類的日常生活結合。而MusicMouth是以”Caricature Robot”為基本概念發展出的機器人，我們形容Caricature Robot為非人形機器人，卻能用誇張化卻不複雜的動作方式展現人類情緒與個性。運用此特點，將家中的物品給予特定的情緒與個性，使Robot能夠更輕易且不突兀的融入家中。 It is a “caricature robot” to be used at home. We can describe a caricature robot as “a non-humanoid robot that can show simplified humanoid motions in exaggerated ways.” As shown in Figure 1, Our product is a speaker in the shape of a “mouth”. The speaker receives audio signals (e.g., music or phone conversation from a smart device) via Bluetooth. The “mouth” does the open and close movement, and the open angle is determined by the amplitude of the sound, as if the mouth is singing the song or doing the talking. Installed with a simplified microphone array, Our product also tracks the sound in the environment and rotates its body to face the source of the sound to give a sense of interaction.
