光達除霧系統與方法

本案提出光達在有霧狀況下的對策。首先光達根據光子偵測事件直方圖或是點雲距離分布狀況判斷霧的濃度狀況,並據以設定一個或多個光達的操作模式及其資料處理方法。一般而言,霧的濃度狀況可分為三種狀況而光達掃描的距離範圍可分為兩區。在中遠距離區,光達之操作模式應加強目標回波訊號能量。而在近距離區,應先進行除霧再行偵測目標及估計目標距離。 This invention proposes the strategies for lidars to operate in foggy environments. First the lidar should judge the condition of fog based on the histogram of photon detection events or the range distribution of point clouds. Then the operation modes and/or data processing methods of one or more lidars can be configured accordingly. In general, it can be classified as three fog conditions and two lidar operating ranges. In the medium-to-long range, the lidar should emphasize on en-hancing the level of signal bounced back from targets. In the short range, defogging techniques should be deployed before target detection and range finding is performed.
