【中文】 本發明揭露用於判斷感染黃病毒屬病毒之疾病的個體是否將出現警示徵象的方法及醫藥組合物。該方法包括：測量個體血清的玻尿酸濃度，以及當該濃度高於或等於70 ng/mL時，該個體被判斷為在其患病歷程中將出現警示徵象。本發明確認血清玻尿酸濃度是黃病毒屬病毒疾病嚴重度的良好預測因子。該醫藥組合物用於阻斷感染黃病毒屬之疾病的個體血清中的玻尿酸以預防發炎反應且包括濃度介於0.05 mM至5 mM之間的4-甲基傘形酮鈉鹽（4-methyl umbelliferone sodium salt）、或濃度介於1 nM至100 nM之間的CD44小干擾核醣核酸（CD44 siRNA）、或濃度介於5 μg/ml至500 μg/ml 之間的抗CD44抗體（anti-CD44 antibody）。 【英文】 The present invention discloses a method for determining whether warning signs will be developed in an object with the Flavivirus infectious illness, and a pharmaceutical composition. The method includes steps of calculating the serum hyaluronan concentration of the object, and determining the warning signs will be developed in his/her whole illness course when the concentration is higher than or equal to 70 ng/ml. It is identified in the present invention that the serum hyaluronan concentration is a good predicator of the severity of Flavivirus infectious illness. The pharmaceutical composition is used to block the serum hyaluronan of the Flavivirus infectious patients to prevent inflammation and includes 4-methyl umbelliferone sodium salt ranged between 0.05 mM and 5 mM, or CD44 siRNA ranged between 1 nM and 100 nM, or anti-CD44 antibody ranged between 5 μg/ml and 500 μg/ml.
