作為下個世代主流的顯示器候選,OLED技術的發展在這幾年逐漸成熟,從約二十年前第一代螢光發光系統(fluorescence)、十年前第二代磷光系統(phosphorescence)至最近五年所發展的第三代熱激延遲螢光(thermal activated delay fluorescence, TADF),在元件的效率以及壽命上有很大的進展。TADF的技術優勢在於能有磷光系統的高效率表現(EQEmax~37%),而不需使用銥鋨等貴重金屬。在此專利中我們設計了吡啶-羰基-苯-咔唑的衍生物作為發光材料,其具有TADF的性質(Est ~ 50 meV)以及在元件表現上遠高於螢光分子的理論效率(EQEmax = 27%)。 As the next generation of display, the relative techniques of OLED have developed well in recently years. Since the first-generation fluorescence and second-generation phosphorescence system from a decade before, the third, new different type of emission mode was developed in last five years, that is TADF. The advantages of TADF are high external quantum efficiency than phosphorescent and fluorescent, and cheaper in material preparation without using heavy-metal such as iridium and osmium. In this patent, we designed pyridine-benzoyl-carbazole type molecule and its derivatives, and they owned TADF property (small Est) and high EQE performance (EQEmax = 27%) which is extremely better than fluorescence system.
