技術說明

本發明提供一種微粒子傳輸方法,主要利用超順磁性粒子組成之粒子串,於外加旋轉磁場操控下,發生多重斷裂並重新串接之機制,帶動周遭非磁性微粒子運動,作為加速微流體或微粒子之傳輸之裝置。主要利用磁性粒子體積小、響應快、能耗低、性能可靠等特點,並透過簡易磁場架構,產生旋轉磁場,藉此控制磁性粒子串發生多重斷裂及重新串接,隨著週期性的斷裂及重組,各小段磁粒子串,會接續帶動周邊非磁性微粒子向前移動,此技術可依粒子串長度有效率地控制微粒子最大移動距離,無須設計複雜之流道外型,亦無須透過複雜或高精密之雷射儀具或光學元件,操控微粒子之運動,此種具創新性、響應快、低耗能及高效率之技術,可望應用於設計微流體系統中運輸微粒子之機構,對生醫機電系統有廣泛應用前景。 The present invention relates to a method of transportation of a non-magnetic micro-bead. Superparamagnetic micro-beads are used to form a microchain under an external unidirectional field firstly, then a rotational filed are applied to manipulate the periodical breaking up and reformation of the chain. Thus, the non-magnetic micro-bead near the magnetic microchain will be hit by the ruptured segments chain and move progressively. The maximum moving displacement of the micro-bead can be controlled by determining the length of the microchain. This innovative invention with features of quick response, low power consumption, and high efficiency doesn’t need to employ intricate or precision apparatus such as laser instrument or optical devices to trap the micro particles. Such developed technique can be used to design micro-bead carriers in microfluidic system which has potential and broad application in bio-MEMS.
