一種鑑別菜鴨孵化率之方法，包含下列步驟。萃取待測菜鴨之基因體去氧核醣核酸，以聚合酶連鎖反應增幅待測菜鴨之卵黏蛋白基因片段序列，使用限制酶剪切增幅之去氧核醣核酸片段，再以瓊脂膠體電泳確認剪切後之結果，以此鑑定菜鴨之卵黏蛋白基因型，並據此鑑別菜鴨之孵化率高低。此一鑑定方法亦可應用於種鴨之選拔。申言之，本發明係利用cDNA晶片、核苷酸定序及PCR-RFLP分析等技術，找出與菜鴨高孵化率性能相關之遺傳標記，並建立基因型鑑定方法及探討基因型與孵化率性能之相關性。俾利用標記輔助選種方法，篩選高孵化率性能之種鴨。 A method for identifying hatchability performance in Tsaiya ducks is disclosed. The method includes the following steps. The genomic DNA of Tsaiya ducks was extracted and served as the template to obtain the fragments of ovomucoid gene by polymerase chain reaction. The amplified DNA products were analyzed by restriction fragment length polymorphism technique to classify the genotypes which were found as molecular markers associated with hatchability performance of Tsaiya ducks. The polymorphisms of the ovomucoid gene can be used as a genetic marker for the purpose of marker-assisted selection.
