技術說明

本發明係一種提高通道重載傳輸效率之載波檢測多路存取/碰撞避免協定的延後競爭退讓方法，其係於現有之二元指數退讓方法加入一延後競爭退讓方法，若一封包為首次傳送，則欲傳送之無線通訊裝置係根據最小競爭視窗參數選出一退讓時間後，將該退讓時間延長一額外的固定長度後退時間即為該次傳送實際的退讓時間，該延後競爭退讓方法可有效提升高負載網路之通道使用率，且有訊務整型的功效，能降低封包的抖動，此外還可提高網路資源使用上的公平性。 The present invention discloses a Delayed-Contention Backoff method for CSMA/CA protocol having a capability of increasing transmitting efficiency in heavy transmitting load condition. A delayed-contention backoff method is appended to the conventional Binary Exponential Backoff (BEB) algorithm. After the backoff time is determined according to the minimum contention window size, the backoff time is extended by an extra constant time if a packet is transmitted for the first time. The delayed-contention backoff method improves the channel utilization at high load, provides traffic shaping feature so that delay jitter is reduced, and increases the fairness of network resource utilization.
