本發明提供一種會談感知的網路位址轉換（NAT）穿透方法，其係應用於一第一主機及一第二主機之間的網路通訊，第一、第二主機分別設於一第一網路位址轉換器和一第二網路位址轉換器之下，當第一、第二主機完成穿透後，第二主機向第一網路位址轉換器發送一註冊請求訊息，第一網路位址轉換器基於註冊請求訊息產生一會談記錄，並產生唯一之會談識別碼（session ID），將包含會談識別碼之註冊回覆訊息發送給第二主機，當第二主機移動到第三網路位址轉換器之下時，只要發送另一註冊請求訊息給第一網路位址轉換器，第一網路位址轉換器便會回覆包含第三映射位址的新註冊回復訊息給第二主機，使第一、第二主機利用彼此的映射位址恢復通訊，不需重新進行網路位址轉換之穿透。 The present invention provides a method of network address translation (NAT) traversal, which is used to establish communication between two hosts. The first host and the second host are located behind the first NAT router and the second NAT router, respectively. After these hosts complete standard NAT traversal procedure, the second host transmits a registration request to the first NAT router. On receiving the request, the first NAT router generates a session record with a unique session id for the session and sends a registration reply with the session id to the second host. In standard NAT traversal scheme, the hosts need to re-conduct the standard NAT traversal procedure to resume the session if the second host moves behind the third NAT router. However, in our scheme, these hosts only transmit a pair of messages to resume the session, which can reduce the handoff latency effectively.
