寬頻圓極化單極天線

本專利為一新穎的雙向與單向輻射之寬頻圓極化印刷單極天線,僅利用一個圓形金屬微片、矩形金屬調整塊以及具有L形訊號線的不對稱共面波導饋入線以及簡單的設計規則,即可得到一個3 dB軸比頻寬超過35%的雙向輻射之寬頻圓極化單極天線,同時此規則可分別適用於L-Band、S-Band以及C-Band之操作頻帶範圍,且於L-Band的設計實例上,吾人以GNSS衛星導航與INMARSAT衛星通訊系統操作頻帶訂立為目標頻帶,當再加入一個無上蓋的簡單金屬盒置於該天線的背面,可在不調整雙向輻射天線的結構參數值下,得到單向輻射的天線設計,所量測的圓極化頻寬仍高達39.4%,且其天線增益可大幅提昇約5 dB以上,更加提升其在衛星通訊系統上之應用性。 This patent pertains to novel printed broadband circularly polarized (CP) monopole antennas with bi-directional with unidirectional radiations. In the new CP antennas, the structure is as simple as consisting of only a circular patch, a rectangular tuning stub, and an L-shaped feeding line protruded from an asymmetric coplanar waveguide (CPW). The simple design rules, developed for designing a bidirectional CP antenna with its bandwidth of larger than 35%, are applicable for the design of antennas used in L-, S-, and C-bands. By adding an open metallic cavity behind the realized bi-directional L-band antenna, we obtain a unidirectional CP radiation with its measured CP bandwidth of up to 39.4%. The resulting operating band is wide enough to cover the desired frequencies needed by GNSS and INMARSAT, and the antenna gain is greatly enhanced by 5 dB, thus making the proposed design promising for applications in satellite communication.
