技術說明

傳統之平面顯示器(例如薄膜電晶體液晶顯示器，TFT-LCD)在生產過程中，畫素常易受到製程汚染或靜電破壊，造成線缺陷(line defect)與點缺陷(pixel defect)。線缺陷是指信號線斷路，薄膜電晶體的短路異常或斷路，造成畫素缺陷。目前使用雷射化學氣相沉積法(Laser Chemical Vapor Deposition)及液體金屬膠體塗布來修補。點缺陷分為亮點(white defect)、暗點(dark defect)及微輝點(dull defect)，而亮點在全黒畫面時也是亮的，可籍由修補亮點變成暗點或微輝點來改善。本發明之目的，在於提供一種膠體旋塗裝置，其兼具旋塗式上膠及相當新穎之修復過程，一機到底而不需轉換機台，同時具有可配合離心力控制點膠寬度等優點。特別是，本發明所欲解決之問題係在於目前並沒有塗膠與磨削合一之修補裝置等問題。 In flat panel production, pixel can be damaged by line or pixel defects, which are due to the process pollution or static electron discharge. Line defect is the breakage of conductive lines and it results in the defects in pixels. It can be repaired by laser chemical vapor deposition with liquid metal gel. Pixel defects include white defects, dark defects, and dull defects. White defects can be repaired by gel and become dark defects or dull defects. The invention utilizes a spinning wheel to coat gels and the wheel can remove the material of conductive lines as well. It provides a method to integrate two repairing steps. Meanwhile, the coating width can be controlled by the spinning speed of the wheel.
