本發明係關於應用抗體於檢測胃幽門螺旋桿菌感染的方法及抑制胃幽門螺旋桿菌嗜中性白血球活化蛋白之活性的用途。本發明以一抗FLAG標籤抗體結合胃幽門螺旋桿菌嗜中性白血球活化蛋白上之一特定抗原表位,可檢測原態或變性態的胃幽門螺旋桿菌嗜中性白血球活化蛋白。此外,本發明亦以一抗FLAG標籤抗體抑制胃幽門螺旋桿菌嗜中性白血球活化蛋白誘導人類嗜中性白血球生成活性氧化物。故,可應用於臨床檢測病患是否遭受胃幽門螺旋桿菌感染,以及作為抑制胃幽門螺旋桿菌引起發炎反應之醫藥組成物。 The present invention provides methods for diagnosing and treating Helicobacter pylori infection by using a monoclonal antibody to detect Helicobacter pylori neutrophil-activating protein (HP-NAP) and inhibit the activity thereof. The monoclonal antibody is an anti-FLAG antibody that binds to a specific epitope on HP-NAP for the detection of HP-NAP in its native form or denatured form. Furthermore, the present invention uses the anti-FLAG antibody to block HP-NAP-induced production of reactive oxygen species by human neutrophils. Thus, the present invention can be applied in clinical diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection as well as treatment of the infection via inhibiting Helicobacter pylori-induced inflammation.
