技術說明

拉帕替尼是表皮生長因子受體-2酪胺酸酶抑制劑,目前用於有表現表皮生長因子受體-2乳癌的標靶治療用藥,且在病人身上有良好的治療效果.而肝癌由於目前不像乳癌那樣有個特定控制癌症進展的致癌蛋白質被找出來,使得肝癌在治療上是相當棘手,開發有效的肝癌治療是相當重要.因此,拉帕替尼若要能有效用於肝癌治療,必須要有使用標準,而本成果主要是提供一種可以預測拉帕替尼於肝癌療效的方法,目前此成果也正在依照學校規定進行專利申請之準備. Lapatinib is tyrosine kinase inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2/Neu/ErbB2). It is now approved for the targeted therapy of breast cancer with HER2 overexpression and brings promising benefits in such patients. In hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), not like breast cancer with HER2 overexpression, there is no specific oncogenic driver identified so far, which renders HCC hard to treat. Development of alternative strategies for HCC therapy is important. Therefore, the predictive biomarker has to be identified once it is planned to use for HCC therapy. The outcome of this study is to provide a way to predict the lapatinib efficacy in HCC and the patent application is being under preparation according to the instructions of our school.
