技術說明

本專利提出一個可以提高圓極化天線增益的雙頻超穎材料(Metamaterial)天線罩，首先，將超穎材料的折射率在所關心的頻段設計成趨近0，因為可以利用此特性將電磁波集中，用以增加天線增益。將先設計低頻段超穎材料，使之在低頻段的折射率趨近於0，然後再設計高頻段，使之在低頻段的折射率趨近於0，最後將兩個超穎材料結合達成雙頻超穎材料此材料可以放置於天線前面6mm即有效果，此天線罩可以分別在2.4 GHz及5 GHz有效的提高圓極化天線增益1.47 dB及1.05 dB。 This patent proposes that a metamaterial-radome of a dual-band circular polarization improves the gain of circularly polarized antenna. The refractive index of metamaterials are designed to near zero. This feature can use to focus on the electromagnetic wave and increase the gain of antenna. First, the low-band and the high-band metamaterials are designed respectively. Then, we combine them into a dual-band metamaterial. This dual-band metamaterial is placed in front of the antenna in 6 mm. The gain of circularly polarized antenna increases 1.47dB and 1.05 dB at the 2.4GHz and 5GHz respectively.
