技術說明

在亞洲美白市場，如台、日、韓、中、印度以及東南亞發展快速，根據研究報導Global Industry Analysts數據，美白產業每年增長13%，規模到2018年將達200億美元。在台灣美白市場需求也不斷擴大，台灣人平均每日花2500萬元在臉部美白上。近日研究報導更指出熊果素經代謝後，其對苯二酚與麴酸等產物為已知致癌物，因而目前國外和日本已經逐漸禁用。在強調使用天然藥物降低副作用的趨勢下，若多運用中草藥化合物做為原料或添加劑更具有安全性和吸引力。本發明是發現中草藥天麻選出特定的美白成份T1，其化合物活性效果高於常見之市售成分麴酸約100倍，優於熊果素約1000倍、亦在斑馬魚、人類黑色素細胞、均有明顯的效果。 Tyrosinase is involved in melanin biosynthesis and the abnormal accumulation of melanin pigments leading to hyperpigmentation disorders that can be treated with depigmenting agents. A natural product T1, isolated from the Chinese herbal plant, Gastrodia elata, is a strong competitive inhibitor against mushroom tyrosinase (IC50 = 0.53 uM), outperforms than kojic acid. The cell viability and melanin quantification assay demonstrate that 50uM of T1 apparently attenuates 20% melanin content of human normal melanocytes without significant cell toxicity. Moreover, the zebrafish in vivo assay reveals that T1 effectively reduces melanogenesis with no adverse side effects. The acute oral toxicity study evidently confirms that T1 molecule is free of discernable cytotoxicity in mice. These results evident that T1 isolated from Gastrodia elata is a promising candidate in developing pharmacological and cosmetic agents of great potency in skin-whitening.
