技術說明

本發明揭示一個根據通道品質資訊(channel quality information)做多輸出入(MIMO)傳輸通道估計或預編碼(precoding)的技術，其可估計之通道係數包括通道輸出入訊號絕對值響應(magnitude response)與通道相位響應(phase response)，其可作非時變(time-invariant)與時變(time-variant)通道響應之估計，其可用於具有直視路徑(LOS)與非直視路徑(non-LOS)傳播情況。本發明亦揭示一個使用通道探測(sounding)以獲得上述通道品質資訊並做通道估計的技術。 A communication system includes at least one transmitting unit and at least one receiving unit. The at least one transmitting unit is configured to transmit at least one input signal after precoding it with at least one precoding matrix. The at least one receiving unit wirelessly coupled with the at least one transmitting unit is configured to receive the at least one precoded input signal, and generate at least one channel quality signal corresponding to the at least one precoded input signal, in which the at least one transmitting unit generates at least one magnitude information estimate or at least one phase information estimate or at least one of both for at least one channel state information according to the at least one channel quality signal, the at least one precoding matrix and at least one noise size signal.
