廢棄鋰電池的處理方法

本發明提供一種廢棄鋰電池的處理方法,其包括提供一廢棄鋰電池模組、切割該廢棄鋰電池模組、以有機清洗溶劑清洗該經切割的廢棄鋰電池模組、自該經清洗的廢棄鋰電池模組中取出所述極捲、使用一旋轉夾具夾持該待處理之極捲,使極捲於第一水槽中展開,藉此令碳材自負極集流體脫落並且通過篩網沉降至第一水槽之底部,隔離膜懸浮於水面上,且負極集流體滯留於該篩網上,以分別收集得到碳材、隔離膜及負極集流體。根據上述技術手段,本發明廢棄鋰電池的處理方法可直接分離出負極集流體、碳材和附著有正極材料的正極集流體,並可自清洗步驟中純化出高回收率的鋰鹽,以實現自動化回收廢棄鋰電池之目的。 The current battery recycling technology addressed on extracting the precious metals like cobalt (Co) from the positive electrode. During the recycling process, it requires added with strong acids or bases in solution and operates at high-temperature, resulting in energy consumption. Otherwise, the by-products with fluoride are harmful to people and environment. Thus, from the viewpoint of circular economy, our project develops a process that is eco-friendly for graphite materials from waste negative electrode slurry of the manufacturer of LIBs. We focuses on: (a) technology development for separating waste graphite from slurry and recovering it into reusable graphite product, (b) process building for disassembling LIBs featured of low energy consumption, low pollution and high efficiency as well as wet flotation separation for the negative electrode, (c) construction of prototype line for (b), (d) commodity for recycled graphite product with specification and processing commercial promotion to pass the certification of at least one LIBs manufacturer and, (e) to obtain external investment for company startup. In summary, the goal of this project attempts to realize the concept of circular economy, low environmental impact, sustainable operation, and solve the issue of waste LIBs.
