數值式選擇題之選項產生方法

本發明是一種包含特定數值的的2的正整數次方組且項數同樣是2的正整數次方個「等差數列」(arithmetic progression, also known as arithmetic sequence)與「等比數列」(geometric progression, also known as geometric sequence)的方法。特別是2個與4個等差數列與等比數列可應用在數值式的2「選項」(choice or option)與4選項的選擇題中,選項排序後是等差數列與等比數列,因此不會洩露答題的線索。 This invention is a computer-aided method of generating a set of choices (options) for multiple-choice questions. The set of choices varies randomly each time the multiple-choice question is generated. The choices in the set form either an arithmetic sequence (arithmetic progression) or a geometric sequence (geometric progression). The number of choices in a set is an integer-power-of-2, and the number of different sets of choices for the same question is also the same integer-power-of-2. This invention is particularly useful in assigning members of 2-member or 4-member arithmetic/geometric sequence as the choices in 2-choice or 4-choice questions, respectively. Since the choices form an arithmetic sequence or a geometric sequence and are arranged randomly in order, the method does not give out any clue as to which choice is the correct answer.
