本光纖光柵元件的信號解調儀,可以代替光譜掃描儀的功能,當兩個光纖光柵之間因溫度或應力差所造成的差量會使反射光信號強度改變,本方法可以將光柵波長位移量直接轉換成光信號強度來判斷待測光柵溫度/應力的變化,本系統使用980nm雷射通過摻鉺光纖激發出寬頻的光源,其波長範圍約為1515 nm至1575 nm,來回經過兩個光譜性質相似光纖光柵,再經光纖偶合器組合成一個環型光纖雷射系統,藉由其中一個光纖光柵因外界環境變化產生波長的位移變化,造成環型光共振迴路的光輸出調置,而達到瞬時環境變化的監測。 This patent demonstrated a fiber sensing interrogation system of a ring resonator formed by two identical fibers Bragg gratings (FBG). The variation of the wavelength of the sensing FBG can be transferred directly in real time to the optical power output which can be amplified for long distance environmental monitoring. The interrogation system is able to achieve dynamic measurements of a strain variation in time domain and frequency domain as well. The signal is recorded and digitalized through a digital data acquisition interface and processed by a personal computer with a developed software program to interpret the measurements in real time format or in frequency domain format by fast Fourier transform (FFT). In addition, by applying multi-channels fiber switching control, it can be adapted in multi-functional monitoring for versatile applications for environmental sensing.
