技術說明

禽流感自1997年在香港被發現，引起全世界的高度關注，自2003年至2011年2月間，確診病例520起，死亡病例307起，死亡率約為60%。本發明提供一種包含過度醣化之突變HA基因的DNA疫苗，該免疫聚焦性突變HA基因係衍生自禽流感病毒。本發明亦提供一種DNA疫苗組合物，其包含：（a）該DNA疫苗；及（b）一種加強劑。本發明更進一步提供一種在一個體中引發抗多型禽流感病毒之免疫反應的方法，其包含將該DNA疫苗或該DNA疫苗組合物投至該個體的組織中。 A DNA vaccine comprising hyperglycosylated mutant HA gene, which is derived from avian influenza virus, is provided. A DNA vaccine composition comprising: (a) the DNA vaccine; and (b) a booster is also provided. A method for eliciting an immune response against a plurality of avian influenza virus subtypes in a subject, comprising delivering the DNA vaccine or the DNA vaccine composition to tissue of the subject is further provided.
