發明係關於一種利用條紋編碼量測物體形貌的方法，特別是關於一種適用於結構光投影系統之利用條紋編碼量測物體的方法。 一種利用條紋編碼量測物體形貌的方法，其包含步驟：提供一預設條紋影像，其具有至少一亮紋、至少一灰紋及至少一暗紋，且該預設條紋影像的週期為2N道條紋，在該2N道條紋之內，其中任意N道條紋的排序不重複，其中N為正整數；將該預設條紋影像投影至一待測物體上；利用一影像擷取裝置擷取該預設條紋影像在該待測物體上的一反射影像，獲得一影像資料；以及利用一影像處理器分析該影像資料，以辨識該待測物體的形貌。 A method for using fringe encoding to measure shape of object is provided and includes the following steps of: providing a preset fringe image which has at least one light fringe, at least one gray fringe and one dark fringe, wherein a period of the preset fringe image is 2N fringes, and the order of any N fringes of the 2N fringes are not repeated; projecting the preset fringe image onto an object to be measured; using an image capturing device to capture a reflection image which the preset fringe image reflects on the object to be measured so as to obtain an image data; and using an image processor to analyze the image data to identify the shape of the object to be measured.
